Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Ensure that the following items are present:

One Author designated as corresponding Author:

  • E-mail address
  • Keywords
  • References are in the correct format for this journal
  • All references mentioned in the Reference list are cited in the text, and vice versa
  • Colored figures with extra fees.

Essential information

  • Title: the first letter of each word is in capital case.
  • Author(s) name(s): Present as family name, abbreviations (ex. Moussa, S.Z.; Elsayed, W. and Hasan, T.Y.). The authors' affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript number immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address, including the country name.
  • Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication. Ensure that telephone and e-mail address are provided.
  • Keywords: Italic, bold and Below the abstract, list five keywords or phrases that best characterize the subject matter of the manuscript. (ex.: Keywords: Poly (L-lactic acid) blends, Microstructure,

Rheological, Crystallization, Mechanical properties, Gamma irradiation.).

  • Tables and figures: must be presented with captions within the main body of the manuscript; figures should additionally be as high resolution files.
  • The results and discussion sections: must be written separately and cannot be combined.
  • References: Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). The reference cited in the text in bold font (ex.: Nahar et al., 1995) and the cited literature should be listed, in alphabetical order. The general form is as follows:
